3 miles 3 acres

Join us for an exciting family fun event called 3 miles 3 acres.    This course is a 3 mile course and all the proceeds will go towards the purchase of a 3 acre tract of land (pictured above, minus the road) in the Bweya village in Uganda.   ekissa, a local non-profit, is sponsoring this race, along with contributing partners above (Fleet Feet Sports of Winston-Salem and Primo Water).   'ekissa' is Ugandan for 'mercy' and seeks to join partners in showing mercy to the people of Bweya village.   It is our hope and dream to see the plant of a church, and the building of medical clinic, a school and a children's home.   The purchase of this tract of land marks the tangible beginnings of this dream. Each acre will cost approximately $28,000 (US Dollars) plus fees.

SO, put on your walking or running shoes, grab the kids, come and join the fun for a GREAT CAUSE! This fun run is based on donations not set registration fees (you may make checks payable to ekissa - we are a 501c3 non-profit and your gift is fully tax deductible).

The 'race' begins in the Oak Valley clubhouse parking lot and ends at the playground.  Click here to view the course.

We would like an idea of how many to expect, so please register attendance only (for a count) at our e-vite 'page'.   Click here to view the invitation (and to register attendance).

If you have questions, feel free to contact Sarah (of ekissa) at 336.971.4855 or click here to e-mail Sarah.
